I – A CONSPIRACY OF FATE
(Formerly THE LAST ARCHANGEL I – FAITHFUL AMIDST THE FALLEN)
It is the year 9 BC, and the Roman Empire is the greatest power on Earth. But this is not Earth. This is the afterlife.
Civil war rages between two hosts of angels – the Faithful and the Free – over who will rule the afterlife. The Free, led by the Archangel Lucifer, are on the verge of victory. The Faithful have only one chance: Aurelia, a young Roman priestess, who is the key to unifying the Powers of Creation.
Unaware of her identity as the prophesied Heir of the Archangels, Aurelia is brought to Elysium, but is captured and forced under the wing of Azdiel, Lucifer's most feared lieutenant. A cold and ruthless angel, Azdiel leads Aurelia through war-torn Elysium and deep into the dark heart of Hades, there to find the imprisoned Archangels of the Faithful and change the fates of all.
II – A UNITY OF CHAOS
(Formerly THE LAST ARCHANGEL II – A UNITY OF CHAOS)
The chosen priestess on a journey through Tartarus.
A dangerous warrior battling the sins of his past.
A master conspirator at war with everyone around him.
A dutiful soldier on a difficult mission.
A mysterious general leading the Army of Justice.
Five lives interwoven in a unity of chaos. Five destines. Five ways to die. And in the afterlife of Ancient Rome, death is only the beginning.
III – A LOVE OF TREASON
A priestess becomes a general.
A warrior becomes a gladiator.
A conspirator becomes a fool.
A soldier becomes a protector.
A temptress becomes a queen.
Journey into the afterlife of Ancient Rome, a place where no one is safe and nothing is what it seems. A place where love and treason go hand in hand.
IV – A GIFT OF VENGEANCE
Perception. Mercy. Protection. Passage. Will.
Five Powers of Creation separated for a thousand years.
In the gathering storm of the final battle, the Archangel Lucifer, lord of the Free angels, has two, and Aurelia, the young priestess of Rome and last hope of the Faithful, has three.
Fate will unite them once more. But in whose hands?
Who will rule the afterlife of Ancient Rome?

There are four books in the series. Enjoyed them very much. Good story.

This was a great book, a high fantasy novel set in a world that combines Greek and Christian mythology in a way that is familiar, exciting and new.

I have been following this up and coming author through the whole series. The series have caused more than one late night as I have not wanted to put the book down. A great story with original characters which leaves you feeling uplifted and wanting more. A great read for all ages.

I couldn't put the books down. I fell in love with the characters and I was sad when I finished, but thankfully the books can be read again!

A Gift of Vengeance is the final gem in an epic fantasy series. I was crushed when I turned to the final page and realized this would be the end. My only hope was that they would release it to the big screen. The entire series is an intense tale full of lust, greed, pain and love. I highly recommend this fast-paced, suspenseful, action-packed, and surprisingly spiritual series. Well worth the read.

By pure coincidence I had the chance to receive the first book (hardcopy) shortly after it's release. the first book here in Holland. Even though the phantasy-genre never really appealed to me I went on to read in 'The last Archangel - Faithful amidst the fallen'. I see the title has now changed on Amazon, but this is the title that will remain in my memory. I remember reading the entire book in 1 go and how it left me wondering and eager to read more... Quite frustrating, really :-)
Phantasy was new to me, apart from reading The Lord of the Rings at some stage in my life. This story caught me in a much more essential way. A phantasy-story which had biblical roots, events and proportions. However I am turning more and more into an atheist these days, I have a religious upbringing and could never have fathomed how you could turn it into a story like this. The way Elliott sees chance to paint a picture with words that is crystal clear. Almost artistic.. How he gives the characters personality and makes them into people you could actually relate to.
I remember how the adventure unfolded and the tension never let off throughout the book. Good vs evil, but also the personal more emotional aspects. of the characters.
It had been a long time since I had read a story which made me really see it and almost made me feel like a spectator in the world this all takes place in. Since then I have only experienced that in the books of Carlos Ruiz Zafon, a totally different genre, but only mentioned to make my point.
After the first book the waiting started... However nice it is to read a fine book; if it has a sequel which has yet to be written, time can pass slowly.
I have devoured 'a Unity of Chaos' and 'a Love of Treason' upon the moments they were made available. And I still am thankful to Elliott (and his brother) for making these books reach me in The Netherlands.
After that my life ran into some challenges and opportunities and the books and their story, however unfinished, drifted to a lost part of my memory. Until... Until late last year I found out book 4 was written and available. Again with great thanks to Elliott for making the book reach me here on the edge of Europe, I now have the opportunity to get into (and part of) the story as it unfolds. Truthfully, I have still got to start reading the 4th book, 'a Gift of Vengeance'.. Personal matters of a passing nature... I do, however, look forward to find out how the final battle will unfold, and I will start reading as soon as I can.
This epos has been a movie in my head and an amazing story of good & evil and love & hate. It deserves a bigger audience and all the credits.
On a personal note (from someone who has always dreamed to be an author but probably never will) these books have also learned me a lot about how great the challenges are to make it in this world as an author. By all means; read the 4 books of this great story. You will not be disappointed!

I don’t like waiting for the final book in a series to be released, but A Gift of Vengeance was worth it. Cross brings the story full circle. The conclusion of the series feels so satisfying. I so much want to say what I liked, but I don’t want to spoil the story. Just read it. You’ll be glad you did.

Truly a great read, there are twists and turns to the very end that wouldn't let me put the book down! Those who haven't read these books are cheating themselves!!
Glyn Pritchard
Enjoyed the 2nd book as much as the first. I travel a lot and found both books great for putting down and picking up as and when I have a few minutes to spare. Although found myself staying up later than I should in order to keep reading. Looking forward to Book 3!

Hi! I loved the first book so much and I'm dying to read the sequel but I could not find any copy here in the Philippines. Please help me. Are there copies here already? Because I want to read it so badly. Thank you :)) Again, I loved your book and the way you wrote it.
Diane Therrien
My friend picked up the signed copies of Book One and Two at the Kelowna Craft Fair and she let me read them first. I loved them! It's an interesting blend of the Roman/Greek Underworld with the Judeo-Christian Angelic hierarchy that really intrigued me. I can't wait for the third book!
Logan McCormack
Hey Elliott, I just finished A Unity Of Chaos, and I liked the first two books very much! Bravo! Some of the best books I ever read! I am curios as to where I could get the third one. I met you at the Organized Chaos or some event like that and got the first two books, but you didn't have the third one. I like your writing style and point of view and how the whole afterlife works. Let me know when and where I can get the third book, I'm dying to know what happens next!
Celeste
Hello. My name is Celeste. I had gotten signed copies of both of your books at Christmas and they are wonderful. Just thought you should know. :)

Dear Mr. Elliott Cross. I am a 17 year old male who just picked up your book, thinking this is gonna suck but I have read book one and on my way to finishing book two, the fact that it's all because of school I have read your books and I thank you for hours of fun. My teacher told me about the book, he showed it to me and I read the first chapter. I was instantly hooked.
Melanie Letnick
I hope you continue writing! Have you finished the third Archangel novel? I just finished booking my trip and so I finished A Unity of Chaos. You're fantastic at endings that make the reader want more! Like before, I'm impatient to know what happens next.
Michael Bru
Peter Cavanagh
I liked the first book even though it's not what I usually read and you outdid yourself on the second book that I will definitely buy a copy of the next book.
Emma Barnes
A Conspiracy of Fate was a very exciting read. Away from the safety of my usual genre I was worried that I might not feel the same involvement in the story. It turns out that the story immediately draws you in and the characters are so interesting that I was gripped the whole way through.
John Dalton
Just wanted to say your second book (A Unity of Chaos) was fantastic! I took it on holiday with me and literally couldn't put it down. There was a really good pace to the book, really well written and great character detail. Myself and my dad found ourselves having conversations about it. Keep up the good work. I want to be the first one to get hold of the next installment!
Ray Munoz
Absolutely loved the book the story is exciting and entertaining can't wait for the next one, plz keep them coming!!!

Hello Mr. Cross. I was fortunate to attend an event at Vernon Rec Centre a few weeks ago and happened to come across your booth. I picked up the first two books in your archangel series and must tell you I really enjoyed them. I read the first one on Saturday and finished the second on Sunday, couldn't put them down! I am very much looking forward to book number three and did add myself to your mailing list that day. Thank you for a very well-written and enjoyable story and I am now a lifetime fan!
Mary-Lou Rampold
I truly enjoyed your first book and am very excited to be about to dive into the second one. In fact, I enjoyed the first one so much, I've ordered book 2 for myself and books 1 & 2 as a gift for my daughter, Liana. I will be telling friends to read your books! Keep on writing (faster would be good) lol.
Mark Fairhead
Another superb book, Elliott. The only thing I don't like is coming to the end & the eager wait for the next one! Thanks for A Unity of Chaos. I have been reading it fireside each evening this week whilst bivvied up out on my latest survival course in the woods. It makes a perfect companion & enthralling, nay, magical escape. Bring on the next one please and thank you for another great read.
Sibylle Schwaegerl
Loved book two as well!! The characters and the way you have developed your story is absolutely captivating. It is easy to read and hard to stop, the flow and story-line is very smooth, interesting new. I read a lot and I mean a LOT :D fiction, fantasy, history, educational books etc.... Fantasy is my favorite and I have to say that in my opinion writing style story etc....you're right up there with Terry Goodkind, Anne Rice, Jim Butcher, Terry Brooks. That is just to name a few ;) Can't wait till your next book!
Jon McCluskey
Fast paced, and a great read. A Unity of Chaos picks up where the last book ended and it keeps you going to the end...now awaiting the 3rd installment. I really enjoy the new world that has been created with this series and I appreciate the book layout with the maps. Overall amazing work. Can't wait for the next book...
Sachi K
I liked your book a lot, I liked it from page one. I love how the story took place in the underworld, and I like how you made the angels skilled in combat and very awesome. 5 stars, totally awesome.
Sandra C
I was introduced to Book 1 by a friend and was not sure if I would enjoy this sort of story as it was not a topic I would have chosen personally. I was pleasantly surprised as the story drew me in to another world. I got to know the characters and had my "favourites". Like all of us who read Book 1, we all wanted to know, did Azdiel survive? It has seemed a long time to wait to find this out, but the wait has been worth it. I got straight back into the story and have loved "catching up" with some "old friends" and having new characters introduced, with a couple of twists that I did not see coming - I loved it!!! and cannot wait to read Book 3 to see where you will take us next. This story gets better and better. Keep up the good writing, Elliott.
Joan S
I really enjoyed "A Unity of Chaos". Elliott has created a landscape as bleak as any you'd never want to step into, and has the forces of good and evil battling one another for nothing less than the restoration of goodness to the universe. The dialogue is well written, and I have yet to find a hole in the plot! Do I really have to wait a whole year for book 3?
Jason Scott
I read the book in 24 hours and loved it. The story pulls you in and doesn’t let you go. The characters are well written and you really get to know them. Really looking forward to the second part and can’t wait.
Holly Adams
Interesting plot, in that the character you are rooting for (Azdiel) is the 'bad guy', and you can witness the power a girl (Aurelia) has over his strength when persuading him to turn 'good'. I really enjoyed this book, pleasant to read and interesting adventures. Vivid pictures are painted in your mind with the descriptive language used. Of course, I enjoyed the romance between the two main characters as well. An all over great book, looking forward to the next one!
Paige H
Hurry and finish the second part! I kept saying they would get together (Azdiel & Aurelia of course), then something would happen and I would be doubtful, but I believe, no I know deep down Azdiel & Aurelia belong together. This book was always something happening no slow parts that helped keep me interested. Good Book!
Sierra S
This book has many interesting twists in the plot, which made it a lot more fun to read than the books out there with average twists. I enjoyed how the main characters "brought out the best" in each other, without seeming to realize as such. I think this is a good read for anyone with a vivid imagination, because the details in the descriptions of the places Azdiel and Aurelia were magnificent, and easily entraps the reader in the story. I read the book in 4 days, and throughout each day, my mind was still in the book, with Azdiel and Aurelia.
Howard Harding
Picked your book up in Malmesbury where I live. Brilliant read. Read it in 3 days. I want more. Regards.
Doug Bryden
Elliott, your book was an excellent read. Considering it is your first book, you did an outstanding and creative job. It was fast pacing and an involving plot. The ending baited my interest and I will wait patiently for PART TWO. :D
Veronica Sinclair
I absolutely loved this novel and would recommend it to anyone. It was very descriptive which made it very easy to relate and sympathize with the characters and also painted a clear picture of Azdiel's world. Can't wait for the next novel to come out! :)
Michelle Kuo
This is a gem of a book! From the first page I became completely lost in the afterlife world of Adziel and Aurelia as they journey to Hades from Elysium. The language makes it very easy for one to vividly imagine the places that are described and the constant action will leave you guessing about Adziel's true motives right up until the end. I really did not want this book to be over and can't wait to read the next installment of this brilliant series. Highly recommended.
Terry Mae Sinclair
I quite enjoyed this book, loved the additions - map, dictionary, etc. Different spin on good/evil. Only drawback it was over so quickly, look forward to next book, great read for all ages.
Simon Perkins
I'm delighted I came across this book. I'm certainly very difficult to satisfy when it comes to books, but I thought the pace, setting, and fantasy world that this book (and hoping others to follow) creates is totally gripping. It really does take you way off in to another world. There aren't many books that I 'miss' when I finish them, but this is definitely one of them.
Sophie Huby
I think this will really appeal to teenagers as it's such a popular genre at the moment. I really, really enjoyed and I thought it was well written, sophisticated and probably very accurate! The plot is so well thought out and everything is relevant - nothing random. I seriously can't wait for the next one :)
Michael Huska

I think this is a good read for anyone with a vivid imagination, because the details in the descriptions of the places Azdiel and Aurelia were magnificent, and easily entraps the reader in the story. I read the book in 4 days, and throughout each day, my mind was still in the book, with Azdiel and Aurelia.

Elliott, your book was an excellent read. Considering it is your first book, you did an outstanding and creative job. It was fast pacing and an involving plot. The ending baited my interest and I will wait patiently for PART TWO. :D

I absolutely loved this novel and would recommend it to anyone. It was very descriptive which made it very easy to relate and sympathize with the characters and also painted a clear picture of Azdiel's world. Can't wait for the next novel to come out! :)

I quite enjoyed this book, loved the additions - map, dictionary, etc. Different spin on good/evil. Only drawback it was over so quickly, look forward to next book, great read for all ages.

I think this will really appeal to teenagers as it's such a popular genre at the moment. I really, really enjoyed and I thought it was well written, sophisticated and probably very accurate! The plot is so well thought out and everything is relevant - nothing random. I seriously can't wait for the next one :)
